"Attached is a photograph I took of the two buildings in Amman belonging to Talal Abu Ghazaleh that have now been forcibly expropriated by the Amman municipality on behalf of Hariri in order to build an access road to the Solidere-style Abdali development. As you recall, Abu Ghazaleh resisted all attempts at intimidation to force him to sell. His son told Baha al-Hariri: 'if you sell me your father's house in Quraytim, then I will sell you my father's headquarters in Amman."As is now typical in Jordan, the state authorities were mobilized on behalf of private interests, and expropriation orders have now been issued for the buildings. He can appeal after sixty days. Abu Ghazaleh is planning to fight to the last, as you can see from the signs. Government workers have removed the signs more than once, and Abu Ghazaleh has put them back up. He is planning to keep people in the buildings night and day in case the bulldozers come. Abu Ghazaleh, originally from Jaffa (and expelled in 1948), is a self-made business man with the most highly respected accounting firm in the Middle East. He employs hundreds of people in Jordan alone and I know for a fact that he employs many people from poor backgrounds strictly on merit. In 1991 he was forced out of Kuwait, and now he is fighting again in Amman. You can imagine that if this is the struggle a prominent and wealthy businessman must put up, with no guarantee of success, then what chance does the ordinary citizen ever have to defend her rights?""

بالله عليكم ما الفرق بين السجون الأردنية والسجون الإسرائيلية ؟

الأسرى الأردنيين بدل من أن يستقبلوهم بالورود رموهم في غياهب السجون !؟

من يتابع سياسة ربوت الأردن عبد الله الثاني يصل إلى نتيجة مفادها أن هذا الشخص حاقد وموتور , ويتصرف بخبث ولؤم لم يسبقه عليه أحد من قبل , ويسعى بكل الوسائل والطرق لإيذاء الشعب الأردني وإتعاسه , ويستميت في إذلاله والنيل من كرامته وحريته !؟ وباتت تصرفاته تأتي كردود أفعال ناقمة على كل من أراد أن يُقدم خدمة لهذا الشعب المغلوب على أمره , ففي الأيام الماضية طبلت وسائل الإعلام الأردنية لما قيل عن صفقة تسليم الأسرى الأردنيين الأربعة وليس السجناء كما يدعونهم في أعلامهم الخائب , لأنهم ذهبوا لمقاتلة العدو ولم يذهبوا للسرقة أو الاعتداء على أحد , بل أن من استباح واعتدى على فلسطين وشعب فلسطين هُم أولئك الصهاينة الإسرائيليين أصدقاء وحلفاء ذلك القزم الإمبريالي اللعين . ففي عام 1990 م خطط ثلاثة من أبطال الأردن بالهجوم على أحدى ثكنات الصهاينة عبر غور الأردن , ومن خلال أمكانتهم المتواضعة وخلسة من كلاب أبو حسين التي كانت ومازالت تحرس مملكة يهوذا , وكان هؤلاء الشباب هم كل من : سلام يوسف سلامة أبو غليون و خالد عبد الرازق أبو غليون و أمين عبد الكريم الصانع . وقد اشتبكوا مع قوة عسكرية إسرائيلية أدى إلى مقتل جندي إسرائيلي وإصابة بعض الصهاينة , وتم القبض عليهم ومن ثم حكموا بالمؤبد وقد قضى هؤلاء الأسرى فترة 90 % من مدة الحكم , لأنهم قد أتموا الآن مدة 17 عام في السجون الإسرائيلية !؟ وأما الأسير الرابع فهو سلطان طه محمد العجلوني فقد الحدود هو أيضاً بعد مرور خمسة أيام فقط على تلك العملية , فهجم هذا البطل الأردني المغوار وبمفرده على أحد مواقع الجيش الإسرائيلي المُحتل في معسكر " داميـة " الصهيوني وأستطاع في تلك العملية أن يقتل جندي إسرائيلي , وتم القبض عليه والحكم عليه أيضاً بالمؤبد , ولم يتعدى عمره آنذاك الـ 18عام , وقد أمضى هو الآخر من فترة محكوميته 17 عام !؟ وقد عانى هؤلاء الأسرى الأشاوس من أقسى وسائل التنكيل والتعذيب ونالهم الكثير من الأذى والإذلال والمعاملة السيئة وكذلك الإهمال الحكومي الأردني المُتعمد , لأن النظام الأردني يُريد أن يجعل منهم درساً وعبرةً لمن أعتبر ذلك النظام الذي كان يتغنى بمعاهدة وادي عربة , فلم يُكلف نفسه لكي يطلق سراحهم أو على الأقل يزورهم ويطلع على أحوالهم الصحية , عن طريق سفارة الأردن في تل أبيب !؟ وللأسف فأن جينات هؤلاء الشبان الوراثية لن تتكرر أو تُستنسخ لدى بعض الانهزاميين ممن هم في الداخل , فقد كان هؤلاء الأبطال يُعانون أقسى المعاناة في سجن هـداريـم الإسرائيلي , حيث كان السجانون يتعاملون معهم بأشد الوسائل تنكيلاً وعنفاً , ولم يُراعي أوضاعهم الصحية وخصوصاً حالة الأسير سلطان العجلوني الذي كان يُعاني من مرض قرحة المعدة الحاد وكانوا يمنعون عليه الدواء الخاص بمرضه ولا يجد سوى بعض الحبوب المهدئة العادية , بينما الحكومة الأردنية الهامشية لم تأبه لأبناء الأردن الذين كانوا يعانون الويلات , بل كانت تجلب الغروبات السياحية الإسرائيلية لتُدنس الأرض التي جاء منها هؤلاء الأبطال للذود عن كرامة أخوتهم في فلسطين المُحتلة !؟ ومن يدري كم من جلاد صهيوني وحارس إسرائيلي وضابطاً في تلك السجون ممن كانوا يُعذبون هؤلاء الأردنيين الأبطال , وبعد أيام قليلة تجدهم يأتون للأردن يقضون أوقات عطلتهم سياحةً ولهواً في البتراء وجرش وغيرها من فنادق ومناطق الأردن الأثرية !؟ وعندما أُشيع بأن حزب الله أراد أن يضم أسماء هؤلاء الأسرى الأردنيين الأربعة ضمن اللائحة الأولى التي تمت لاحقاً قبل عامين تقريباً في عملية التبادل التي تمت بواسطة ألمانيا , جن جنون هذا القزم الإمبريالي عبد الله الثاني حينها واستمات في عرقل تلك الصفقة , ربما خوفاً من ظهوره أمام الشعب بمظهر الملك العاجز والعميل الضعيف الذي لم يأبه لمصير رعاياه , وبالمقابل فهناك من ينتخي لمواطنيه من الخارج ومن حزب وليس دولة !؟ وعندما تردد أخيراً بأن حسن نصر الله قد أضاف أسماء الأردنيين الأربعة ضمن اللائحة الحالية في عملية التبادل المُرتقبة مع إسرائيل خصوصاً بعد مناشدة هؤلاء الأسرى الأردنيين لحزب الله بأن يضمهم لتلك اللائحة , بعد أن يأسوا من حكومة الربوت الأردني العميل . فسارع عبد الله الثاني بتحويل مكان اعتقال هؤلاء الأسرى الأشاوس من سجن هـداريـم الإسرائيلي إلى أحد سجونه السرية شمال الأردن !؟ وبدلاً من أن يُستقبل هؤلاء الأبطال الشجعان بمواكب الفرح ومضايف البدو وخيم الاحتفالات كالتي نصبها الملك الأردني حينما أستقبل قرينه الأهبل ملك السعودية عبد الله بن عبد العزيز , تم الزج بهم بأحد سجون جلالته , وقد ألبسهم الملابس الخاصة بالمساجين وعتاة المُجرمين حتى لا يغضب منه حبيبه إيهود أولمرت !؟ والمصيبة أن بعض أفراد هذا الشعب أصبحوا نسخاً شبيهةً بمليكهم المأفون ففقدوا الإحساس وأصبحوا مُغيبين عن الواقع ومُجردين من المشاعر وباتوا كالببغاء يُرددون ما يقوله لهم مولاهم الهامشي الآشر !؟ فبدلاً من أن يستقبلون هؤلاء الأبطال بالورود ونثر الأرز على رؤوسهم الكريمة ويكرمونهم ويحتفون بهم , كما تفعل عادة الدول الحُرة والمُستقلة والشعوب المُحترمة التي تستقبل أبطالهم من أسر وسجون الأعداء !؟ ظهروا يرقصون ويدبكون لأن مدينة البتراء التأريخية تم إختيارها كثاني عجيبة من عجائب الدنيا !؟ وبصراحة بعد تلك المفارقة العجيبة بين إهمال وتعمد عدم استقبال هؤلاء الأبطال من قبل الحكومة الأردنية , أولئك الشباب الذين ضحوا بأعمارهم وشبابهم من أجل فلسطين والقدس ولأجل رفعة سمعة واسم طنهم عالياً , ومن ثم انشغالهم ثم احتفالهم الغامر في تصفيات عجائب الدنيا السبع تلك !؟ فتستحق هذه الدولة بأن تفوز بأغرب وأعجب حكومة مغسولة من الكرامة وفاقدة للأهلية , بل ويستحقون أن يدخلون في كتاب غينس للأرقام القياسية في اللؤم وسوء الطوية وقلة الأصل والمعروف , كونهم لا يُقدرون أبطالهم الحقيقيين ويحتقرون أبناء وطنهم النُجباء , والدليل أنهم نقلونهم من سجون الأعداء في الجانب الآخر , ووضعوهم في سجن محلي وطني هامشي !؟ فيا للعار ويا للسخرية الأقدار وسحقاً لهؤلاء الأدوات والأمعات من العملاء الصغار . المُضحك أن جلالة حفيد إليزابيث لم يسمح له أسياده الصهاينة بإصدار عفواً ملكياً عن هؤلاء الأسرى الذين تسلمهم وزج بهم مرةً أُخرى في غياهب سجونه اللعينة , وذلك حسب الاتفاقية المُهينة التي قبل فيها من أجل نقل هؤلاء الأسرى لسجونه , وقد تعهد بعدم أطلاق سراحهم إلا بعد مرور عام ونصف على بقائهم في السجون الأردنية , أي في نهاية 2008 !؟ ألم أقل لكم بأن هذا الملك الأردني المُراهق ما هو إلا مُجرد ربوت هامشي خائب ويتم تحريكه بالرموت كونترول من تل أبيب !؟ وكل هذه الضجة الإعلامية الأردنية والصخب النفاقي الممجوج في صحافتهم الصفراء عن عملية نقل الأسرى الأردنيين إلى مُعتقلات ابن أنطوانيت , ليس حباً بهؤلاء الأسرى الأبطال و ليس شفقةً على أسرهم وعوائلهم , بل من أجل سحب البساط من تحت أقدام حزب الله , حيث ترددت أخبار بأن حسن نصر الله ينوي إضافة أسمائهم ضمن الصفقة الجديدة في عملية تبادل الأسرى مع إسرائيل !؟ لكن السؤال المُحير إذا كان الملك خائن وملعون وأبن ستين كلب , وحكومته نكرة وفاجرة تابعةً ذليلة لسيدها جلالة الربوت ؟ إذن أين هُم شرفاء الأردن , وأين ذهبت أحزاب المُعارضة المزعومة وأين هُم الوطنيين والأحرار في هذه البلاد الأردنية , صدقاً عندما شاهدت كيف توانى وتخلى هؤلاء القوم عن الدكتور أحمد العبادي الذي كان يُطالب لهم بحقوقهم الشرعية وضحى من أجلهم , ومع هذا خذلوه وتوانوا عن نصرته , وصلت إلى نتيجة مفادها أنني أنفخ في قربة مخرومة !؟ ولكن عزائي بأن الخير يبقى في القلة وإن كانت قلة . والحرية للأسرى الأردنيين الأربعة في سجون مُهلك الأردن , وكذلك الحرية للدكتور أحمد عويدي العبادي , وأيضاً الحرية لكل السجناء الأبرياء في المُعتقلات الأردنية .

"من قلم : وليد عثمان شيشاني وهبنا أنفسنا في الأردن ملكا وبهلوانا، حقيقة لا مجازا، عندنا ملك لا يفهم من الملك إلا النهب والسلب وإحتقار القانون والشعب، كما بلانا الله بفرق موسيقية وسحيجة ومطبلين ومزمرين لهذا الملك وبهلوانه، يشيدون بخوارقه وإنجازاته الوهمية، معتقدين أن بناء القصور والفنادق وبيوت الدعارة في عمان ،إنجازات قومية ووطنية في الأردن . عجبا لمن يغمض عينيه ولا يحب أن يرى واقع الفقر والعوز المحيق بالشعب ،ومن يسد أذنيه عن سماع أصوات المستغيثين الصابرين على مصائب هذا الملك وظلم مخابراته وتياسة المطبلين والمزمرين له.فإذا ما تكلم حر من أحرار الوطن ، وطالب بإحترام القانون والمحافظة على حق الشعب من الحرية والعيش الكريم،وإيقاف الفساد والسلب والنهب ، سرعان ما تنبري له أجهزة الملك ،متهمة إياه بالخيانة والعقوق والولاء للأجنبي ، وينتهي به المطاف في السجن، ولا يخرج إلا بعد أن يركع الشعب للملك ويجدد الولاء له ،وبمسرحية هزيلة تظهر أصالة مزيفة ومفقودة،وكرم وهمي كاذب للملك ، وقدرات خيالية وهتشكوكية لأجهزة الملك من مخابرات وأمن وداخلية وخارجية ، وكل ذلك لأرهاب الشعب وإذلاله وتبقى أجهزة الملك الأعلامية تشيد بإنتصارات الملك وإنجازاته ، ولأكمال المسرحية تتحرك قوافل الخير الهاشمية ،حاملة المواد التموينية المأخوذة غصبا من التجار لتوزع على القرى النائية وبتغطية إعلامية ليراها الشعب ، ثم يتبعها مكرمات ملكية بالعفو عن بعض اللصوص والمجرمين الذين يتعهدون بالتعاون مع المخابرات ضد الشعب ،وللفساد والنميمة بين المواطنين . فأشد ما يخيف المخابرات هو أن يحب المواطن أخاه المواطن.أما أن تدعي أجهزة الملك بأن الأردن بلد ديمقراطي ،ولا تزال سجونها مليئة بالأحرار والشرفاء من أبناء الشعب ، فذلك هو الضحك على العالم ،وليس على الشعب فقط. فكم من صحيفة يسجن محررها؟ وكم من صحفي يتبهدل كل يوم؟ وكم من مطالب بالحرية وحقوق الأنسان لا زال معتقلا مثل الدكتور أحمد العبادي، الذي إجتاز الخط الوهمي الأحمر ،وطالب الملك بإحترام القانون ودفع الضرائب عن أمواله وممتلكاته،ثم إحترام الشعب الذي لولاه لما كان الملك ملكا. فتلك هي ديمقراطية الملك وبهلوانه، أية ديمقراطية هذه؟ أن يعين رئيس الوزراء والوزراء والنواب والأعيان تعيينا من الملك؟ أن يقود الملك سياسة البلادمنفرداهو والبهلوان ؟ أن يبيع أراضي خزينة الدولة للأغراب،تحت مسمى الأستثمار؟نعلم أن الأردن بلد محدود الأمكانيات ، فهل معنى ذلك أنه يجب بيعه؟ وماذا عن الشعب وماذا سيحل به؟

Ciechanover Report on Mish'al Affair "Description of the Operation On September 25, 1997, the Mosad agents waited at the entrance of the Hamas offices in Amman, with the intention of assassinating Khalid Mish'al. They succeeded in injuring him, using a lethal substance. However, immediately afterwards, Khalid Mish'al's personal chauffeur and a security guard intervened. The chauffeur, who saw what was happening, hit the agent with a newspaper on his hand. The security guard began to chase the agents, and was able to note the license plate number of the car in which they had escaped, and boarded a passing car in order to pursue them. The agents were unaware that they were being followed. After some 300 meters, they stopped their car and left it. The security guard chased them and, with the help of a plainclothes policeman, managed to overpower and apprehend them. The agents were driven by the policeman and the security guard in a taxi to the nearest police station, and placed under arrest. When news of the agents' arrest broke in Israel, the Head of the Mosad flew to Jordan, with the Prime Minister's consent, in order to report the events to the King in person, bringing with him an antidote to treat Khalid Mish'al."

"According to the Jewish religion, the murder of a Jew is a capital offence and one of the three most heinous sins (the other two being idolatry and adultery). Jewish religious courts and secular authorities are commanded to punish, even beyond the limits of the ordinary administration of justice, anyone guilty of murdering a Jew. A Jew who indirectly causes the death of another Jew is, however, only guilty of what talmudic law calls a sin against the "laws of Heaven", to be punished by God rather than by man. When the victim is a Gentile, the position is quite different. A Jew who murders a Gentile is guilty only of a sin against the laws of Heaven, not punishable by a court (Maimonides, Mishneh Torah,"Laws on Murderers" 2,11 ; Talmudic Encyclopedia, "Goy".). To cause indirectly the death of a Gentile is not sin at all (R. Yo'el Sirkis, Bayit Hadash, commentary on Beyt Josef, "Yoreh De'ah 158. ...). ... All this has a direct and practical relevance to the realities of the State of Israel. Althought the state's criminal laws make no distinction between Jew and Gentile, such distinction is certainely made by Orthodox rabbis, who in guiding their flock follow the Halakhah. Of special importance is the advice they give to religious soldiers. Ibidem, p.75-76."

Robert Fisk: Welcome to 'Palestine' "How troublesome the Muslims of the Middle East are. First, we demand that the Palestinians embrace democracy and then they elect the wrong party - Hamas - and then Hamas wins a mini-civil war and presides over the Gaza Strip. And we Westerners still want to negotiate with the discredited President, Mahmoud Abbas. Today "Palestine" - and let's keep those quotation marks in place - has two prime ministers. Welcome to the Middle East. Who can we negotiate with? To whom do we talk? Well of course, we should have talked to Hamas months ago. But we didn't like the democratically elected government of the Palestinian people. They were supposed to have voted for Fatah and its corrupt leadership. But they voted for Hamas, which declines to recognise Israel or abide by the totally discredited Oslo agreement. No one asked - on our side - which particular Israel Hamas was supposed to recognise. The Israel of 1948? The Israel of the post-1967 borders? The Israel which builds - and goes on building - vast settlements for Jews and Jews only on Arab land, gobbling up even more of the 22 per cent of "Palestine" still left to negotiate over ? And so today, we are supposed to talk to our faithful policeman, Mr Abbas, the "moderate" (as the BBC, CNN and Fox News refer to him) Palestinian leader, a man who wrote a 600-page book about Oslo without once mentioning the word "occupation", who always referred to Israeli "redeployment" rather than "withdrawal", a "leader" we can trust because he wears a tie and goes to the White House and says all the right things. The Palestinians didn't vote for Hamas because they wanted an Islamic republic - which is how Hamas's bloody victory will be represented - but because they were tired of the corruption of Mr Abbas's Fatah and the rotten nature of the "Palestinian Authority". I recall years ago being summoned to the home of a PA official whose walls had just been punctured by an Israeli tank shell. All true. But what struck me were the gold-plated taps in his bathroom. Those taps - or variations of them - were what cost Fatah its election. Palestinians wanted an end to corruption - the cancer of the Arab world - and so they voted for Hamas and thus we, the all-wise, all-good West, decided to sanction them and starve them and bully them for exercising their free vote. Maybe we should offer "Palestine" EU membership if it would be gracious enough to vote for the right people? All over the Middle East, it is the same. We support Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan, even though he keeps warlords and drug barons in his government (and, by the way, we really are sorry about all those innocent Afghan civilians we are killing in our "war on terror" in the wastelands of Helmand province). We love Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, whose torturers have not yet finished with the Muslim Brotherhood politicians recently arrested outside Cairo, whose presidency received the warm support of Mrs - yes Mrs - George W Bush - and whose succession will almost certainly pass to his son, Gamal. We adore Muammar Gaddafi, the crazed dictator of Libya whose werewolves have murdered his opponents abroad, whose plot to murder King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia preceded Tony Blair's recent visit to Tripoli - Colonel Gaddafi, it should be remembered, was called a "statesman" by Jack Straw for abandoning his non-existent nuclear ambitions - and whose "democracy" is perfectly acceptable to us because he is on our side in the "war on terror". Yes, and we love King Abdullah's unconstitutional monarchy in Jordan, and all the princes and emirs of the Gulf, especially those who are paid such vast bribes by our arms companies that even Scotland Yard has to close down its investigations on the orders of our prime minister - and yes, I can indeed see why he doesn't like The Independent's coverage of what he quaintly calls "the Middle East". If only the Arabs - and the Iranians - would support our kings and shahs and princes whose sons and daughters are educated at Oxford and Harvard, how much easier the "Middle East" would be to control."

الواقع السياسي والاقتصادي الثقافي الاجتماعي المتردي الذي تتخبط فيه البلاد في بلدية معان على سبيل المثال واذا ما استعرضنا امكانيات االبلدية وهي من اقدم البلديات في الاردن حيث تاسست عام 1898 م نجد ان تلك البلدية غارقة في الديون والازمات وهي لا تستطيع ان تقف على رجليها نظرا للموازنة الخفيفة التي تتلقاها من حكومة الاردن وبالكاد تحاول جاهدة ان تحصل شيئا من الضرائب المترتبة على المواطنين بدون ان تقدم لهم اية خدمة بيئية اوخدمية اومجتمعية وتلك الضرائب لا تكاد تغطي اجور العاملين في البلدية باثمان بخسة وكل اربعة شهور وبالقطارة كما يقولون لا يمكن ابدا تحقق تلك البلديات بوضعها الحالي اية نتائج ايجابية على ارض الواقع بدون توفر اساسات مادية وسلط تنفيذية وتشريعات واقعية تراعي متطلبات المواطنين وبيئتهم فاذا فقد الشرط المادي وبقيت الحال على ما هي عليه كيف اذن يمكن ان يقوم هذا المجلس المنتخب بواجباته وما هوموقفه امام بلدية غارقة في الديون والالتزامات ان تلك الاشكالية بحق صعبة جدا الاشكالية الاخرى هي طبيعة السلطة الممنوحة للرئيس والاعضاء واشكالياتها فالرئيس كان يتم تعيينه من قبل الدولة في السابق تفرزه الدولة بحيث يمثل سياساتها وبرامجها وترسم له الخطوط بتفاصيلها ودقائقها وتمنحه الامتيازات والمنافع المادية والشخصية مقابل تنفيذه لاملاءاتها التي تكون عادة في صالح فئات متنفذة وليست في صالح الشعبايضا تقوم الدولة باضافة اعضاء تنفيذيين وهم مدراء الدوائر في كل محافظة لتضمهم الى اعضاء المجلس البلدي وبذلك تضمن الدولة عدم خروج قرار باغلبية قد يكون في غير صالحها ومصالحها يبدو بان الدولة تصر على ان تكون الانتخابات والتشكيلات عشائرية بحتة يرافقها اثارة للنعرات العشائرية والعصبيات الضيقة النتنة وبذلك تضمن افراز رموز عشائرية لا تمت الى الاصلاح والتنمية بادنى صلة بل تصبح تعبيرا عن السلطة القبلية المستبدة التي تنصهر فيها جميع القيم العصبوية الضيقة وبذلك تفشل عملية الاصلاح والتطوير والتنمية بهذه الطريقة فما بالكم اذا انضمت تلك الاشكاليات الى ديون متراكمة وازمات دفع الاجور للعمال والفساد المالي والاداري الذي تطفح به بلديات المملكة اضافة الى النظام الاداري التقني المتخلف والمترهل في آن واحد ان تلك التشكيلة بعيدة الارتباط عن احداث اية تنمية وتطوير واصلاح في المدن تدخل السلطات في قضية الانتخابات البلدية قضية مفروغ منها فهي تحرك ادواتها العشائرية المرتبطة بها والتي تغدق عليها من الاعطيات والمنح والامتيازات لكي تنفذ اوامرها وسياساتها وتخضع لمعطياتها بدون النظر الى الصالح العام وصالح المواطن وذاك التدخل السافر لا زال ينحى منحى كلاسيكيا يعود بنا الى عصر الاستعمار الانجليزي حينما كان ابو حنيك (كلوب باشا) يحرك غالبية الزعامات الاردنية ويمارس ترويضها لتنفذ املاءات وسياسات الاستعمار البريطاني في الاردن ونعود الى تلك الجماهير المضللة المخدوعة بتلك القضايا الثانوية التي تستهلك جهودها وطاقاتها في الثغاء والنطاح وتشحن فيها روح القطيع الهائم على حاله منقادين الى صناديق الاقتراع بدون أي وعي او بصيرة وتلك الجماهير التي تعاني الامرين وتجهد في الحصول على لقمة العيش وتلهث خلفها وتكدح ليلها ونهارها في مزرعة الحيوانات من اجل الابقاء على مقوماتها الحياتية الانسانية التي تبقيها في حالتها الآدمية في تلك المزرعة الكبيرة غير ان ارباب تلك القطعان هم من يقطفون الثمار ويستولون على انتاج وثروات اولئك المقهورين تارة بسياطهم وتارة باضاليلهم وبرامجهم الخداعية وديمقراطيتهم الجوعيةولننظر ونتابع مسلسل ارتفاع الاسعار هذه الايام الذي يحرق دخول الفئات الكادحة من طبقة عاملة وفئات متوسطة كادحة لتنتفخ البرجوازية التجارية والزراعية والمالية والعقارية ولتتضخم على حساب الجسد الشعبي الهزيل الذي هو اغلى ما يحلبون ويستغلون ويملكون هذا الارتفاع الجنوني الذي اعجز الفقير ان يبتاع اساسيات حياته من الطعام الرديء والحاجيات البسيطة التي لن تقيم اوده وتلك الفتيات اللاتي يواجهن نفس المصير فيتجهن الى البغاء في اوكاره ومراكزه المنتشرة في المدن الاردنية الكبرىان دفع المواطنين الى تلك العملية الانتخابية التي لا تسمن ولا تغني من جوع هو خطوة جديدة لابعادهم عن التفكير في واقعهم الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والسياسي المر والمجهول المستقبل وسبق ان قلنا ان لا وجود لاساسات ومعطيات مادية على ارض الواقع يمكن ان تخدم المواطنين بل سرعان ما يتهاوى اعضاءالمجلس البلدي في هوة الفساد المالي والاداري الذي يجدون سهولة كبيرة في التعاطي معه والتردي في حمأته فالتشريعات القانونية والادارية البيروقراطية المتخلفة كرست لخدمة فئات صغيرة وليس لصالح الشعب عموماان تلك الانتخابات لن تقدم أو تؤخر ما دامت لا تتساوق مع وقائع مادية متحققة على ارض الواقع وتشريعات متساوقة مع صالح الشعب ونظام انتخابي عصري ومتطور من شأنه ان يعبر عن طموحات الشعب وارادته وما دامت القوانين التي تحكم البلديات تكرس للفساد المالي والاداري وتعمل على تسهيله وتشجيعه وما دامت السلطات تتدخل في كل صغيرة وكبيرة لتضمن اخصاء تلك العملية الديمقراطية الجوعية

العاملات الآسيويات في الاردن بين تضليل قانون العمل واستغلال مكاتب النخاسة الاردنية

For my readers in Jordan. I had to copy and past this article by من قلم : صالح ابو طويلة because this website can't be accessible in Jordan. تبدأ حياة العامل الحقيقية حين انتهائه من العمل والشغل عند رب العمل فيبحث عن سلوة له واستراحة بسيطة لتعينه على كد العمل وقرف المعاناة من اجل لقمة العيش قد يجد له انيسا في مقهى او أي تجمع اجتماعي في محيطه الذي يعيش فيه فالعامل الاردني او الاجنبي في الاردن قد يتخلص من والاضطهاد لسويعات او اثناء العطلة او الاستراحة بينما الوضع سيكون مختلفا جدا بالنسبة للعاملات الاجنبيات في الاردن وخصوصا خادمات المنازل والقائمات بالاعمال الشبيهة فبحكم العرف الاجتماعي الذي يتميز بالذكورية المطلقة يكون اضطهاد وقهر المراة مضاعفا ومعززا بقوانين واعراف وتقاليد واشكاليات معقدة من شأنها ان تسهل عملية الاستغلال والعبودية وتعيق أي تقدم من شأنه ان يحل بعضا من تلك الشبكة الهائلة من التعقيدات الاقتصادية والاجتماعيةفالعامل المصري المقيم في الاردن على سبيل المثال يستطيع التأقلم شيئا فشيئا مع الاوضاع الاجتماعية والانماط الاقتصادية السائدة في الدولة الاردنية ونقصد بالاوضاع السائدة التكيف مع المعاناة و طبيعة الاستغلال وهضم الحقوق وذلك يعود الى انتماء العامل المصري ربما الى المنظومة العربية بخصائصها الاجتماعية واعرافها وعاداتها وتقاليدها ولغتها اضافة الى الاعداد الكبيرة للمصريين الذين يشكلون جاليات كبيرة ضمن النسيج الاجتماعي الاردني ولعل حالة العامل الاردني تتشابه الى حد كبير مع حالة العمال العرب الاجانب وان كانت ربما اسوأ لكونه يقبع في الدرك الاسفل من سلم الهرم الوظيفي والانتاجي تحت نظام الحد الادنى للأجور الذي لا يكفيه اجرة مسكن يؤويه هو واسرته بينما يستطيع العمال المصريون وغالبيتهم من العزاب ان يتجمعوا في غرف سكنية لتتجزأ عليهم الاجرة او ربما ينتظموا في نظام تشاركي مقنن بشأن توزيع المواد الغذائية والطعام اضافة الى عدم مشاركتهم في الحياة الاجتماعية لكونهم مغتربين مما يخفف عنهم بعض العبء انما لا ينفي عنهم صفة التعرض الى الاستغلال واذا ما عدنا الى العامل الاردني لوجدناه لا يتحصل على الحاجيات الاساسية التي تضمن له الانخراط في المنظومة الآدمية ككائن حياذن فالعمال العرب في الاردن عموما افضل حالا من العمال الاسيويين وخصوصا العاملات في المنازل من عنصر الاناث اللاتي لا يستطعن بحكم اختلاف الجنس والثقافة واللغة والبعد الجغرافي وغيرها من العوامل ان يلجأن الى الشكوى او المطالبة بالمخصصات المالية او الاستدعاء على رب المنزل عندما تتعرض الواحدة منهن لأي أذى او تعذيب اواعتداء جنسي او هضم للحقوق او اية ممارسة اخرى مخالفة لحقوق الانسان العامل والمرأة بشكل خاص ...... غير ان قطاع خدم المنازل وطهاتها وبستانييها الذي يتركزون بكثافة في المناطق الحديثة خاصة في المدن الاردنية الكبرى او ان شئنا اطلقنا عليهم اسم خدم وحواشي وعبيد الطبقة البرجوازية الاردنية والفلسطينية والعراقية التي نزحت مجددا الى الاردن وتموقعت الى جانب اثرياء عمان وتطبعت بطباعهم ان العاملات العربيات في الاردن واللائي يقمن في الغالب بتقديم الخدمة للمنازل بطريقة المقاولة قد لا يتعرضن للاستغلال بالقدر الذي تتعرض له العاملات الاجنبيات الاسيويات فالعاملات العربيات عموما يتخصصن باعمال النظافة والطهي والعناية بالكبار احيانا ويتحدد وقت العمل لهن بالايام وبالساعات بالاتفاق مع رب المنزل مسبقا وان كانت تلك الطريقة تتم مباشرة بين العاملة وصاحب المنزل بخلاف او قد يتم استغلالهن جنسيا من قبل اصحاب الملاهي الليلية ودور المساجاما العاملات الاسيويات- والتي تتجاوز اعدادهن عشرات الآلاف- اللاتي يعانين الأمرين نتيجة لغموض نصوص قانون العمل الاردني وعدم دقته بالاضافة الى تخلي دائرة العاملين في وزارة العمل عن واجباتها الحقيقية تجاه تلك الفئات المستغلة اضافة الى تخلي سفارات تلك الدول التي تتاجر بابنائها باي شكل من الاشكال فلا يتم تحديد زمن العمل وطبيعته ولا يتم تحديد الاستراحات والعطل وقضية نوعية وكمية الغذاء الذي تحتاجه كما لا يتم تحديد مواصفات المأوى والذي غالبا ما يكون في المطبخ أو الأقبية .... نعم يتحدد الوقت الزمني العام بعقد لمدة سنتين غالبا وكما قلنا بدون ان تكون هناك تفصيلات واضحة حول طريقة احتساب الاجور بشكل دقيق في تلك المنازل وبدون بيان شاف للحقوق المتعلقة بهؤلاء الخدم من عطل او استراحات او تقديم علاج أو غذاء او طبيعة المبيت او متابعة شؤونهم وتلقي شكاواهم وقد يدعونا هذا الأمر الى مراجعة قانون الحد الادنى من الاجور وقانون حماية الاجور لنكتشف ان ليست ثمة توضيحات شافية بشأن فئات خدم المنازل وطهاتها وبستانييها والسبب يعود الى ان العمال بكافة فئاتهم ومهاراتهم يختلفون بطبيعة الحال عن فئات خدم المنازل في كثير من القضايا والتفصيلات.. فبعض الخادمات يعملن خمسة عشر ساعة في اليوم والليلة ابتداءا من ساعات الفجر وحتى حلول الظلام وقد يتخلل ساعات العمل الطويلة تلك بعض الوجبات الخفيفة او فتات موائد رب المنزل كما بينت كثير من التقارير والشكاوى لدى وزارة العمل ولذا فالعاملة تغدو ملكا لرب المنزل لمدة سنتين كاملتين مثلا او بحسب العقد يتصرف بها كيف شاء وتتعرض في تلك المدة الى ابشع استغلال من قبله فيعتبرها تحت تصرفه وملكا له وهذا لا يعني ان بعض ارباب المنازل يمنحون تلك العاملات بعض حقوقهن وهذا الامر يرجع الى مزاجية رب المنزلتبدا معاناة العاملة الاسيوية اولا باستغلال مكاتب استقدام العاملات التي تعمل على استغلال العاملات الاسيويات سواء المكاتب الموردة لهذا الرقيق الاسيوي او مكاتب النخاسة المتواجدة في الاردن والذين يصنفون هذا الرقيق ويخضعونه لمعاييرهم ومقاييسهم فعندما تاتي هذه العاملة والتي تكون عادة من الطبقة الريفية الاسيوية التي تتمتع بنصيبها من الامية والجهل والعوز والخوف والخضوع لشروط المستغلين من مضطهدي الرقيق الاسيوي فالمستغلون لتلك الفلاحة البسيطة التي اتي بها من اقصى البلاد وانتزعت من بين يدي أهليها لتوفر لهم لقمة العيش الشحيحة هم مكاتب النخاسة اولا ثم الدولة المصدرة لتلك البضاعة البشرية ثم رب المنزل وهو المستغل المباشر لجهد تلك العاملات غير ان وزارة العمل تستقطع اموالا من تلك المكاتب تحت مسمى الرسوم والرخص فالاموال التي يستوفيها مكتب الاستقدام من رب المنزل والتي يدفع منها جزءا ضئيلا لوزارة العمل هي في الحقيقة ناتجة عن استغلال خدمات تلك العاملة الكادحة المستغلة من قبل رب المنزل لقاء الاستخدام وتقديم الخدمات المنزلية والعمل الشاقهذه هي الاشكالية الرئيسة استغلال العاملة من قبل الدولة المصدرة ومن قبل الدولة المستقبلة ومن قبل مكاتب الاستقدام المشرفة على عملية استرقاق البشر واستعبادهم وسلبهم لآدميتهم في تلك العملية تتم عملية الاستغلال والحرمان من الحقوق والاضطهاد بكافة صنوفه وثم تأتي المعاناة النفسية للعاملة بالدرجة الثانية والتي تتمثل بمعضلة تعلم اللغة التي تجبر على تعلمها جبرا من خلال سيول الاهانات والضرب والقمع من قبل ارباب تلك المنازل واطفالهم ثم تبدأ رحلة المعاناة من اجل لقمة العيش بالعمل الشاق من الطبخ والتنظيف والقيام بالاعمال الدنيئة المرهقة ثم يتبعها العناية بالحدائق رعاية وسقاية .... وقد توعز الى تلك الخادمات القيام بعمليات الشراء من المحلات التجارية وتلك الفرصة توحي لتلك العاملات الى الهروب احيانا الى اي مكان من جحيم العمل الشاق في المنازل ومن جحيم الاضطهاد ولا تخلو الصحف الاردنية اليومية من بلاغات لهروب العاملات الى اي مكان مجهول دونما توضيح لتلك الاسبابايضا تتحمل هذه العاملة ايضا مسؤولية العناية بكبار السن والاطفال والمعاقين احيانا اضافة الى الاعمال الاخرىونستغرب كثيرا عندما نطالع كتابات بعض الصحفيين الاردنيين بشأن تلك الخادمات محذرين من الاثر التربوي السيء الذي تتسبب به تلك الخادمات المسكينات وقد قرأت احدى المضحكات المبكات لكثير من الصحفيين الذي ينددون فقط بترك الاطفال لتلك العاملات ولا ينددون بالعبودية البشرية والاتجار بالبشر وماذا تملك هذه العاملة الاندونيسية الريفية المسكينة من ثقافة دخيلة حتى تفسد تربية ابناء اولئك الاثرياء الذين يتحكمون في مصير البشر ..في حين تحرم تلك العاملة من الكثير من الحقوق فهي ملك لصاحب المنزل اربعا وعشرين ساعة ليس هذا بيت القصيد بل المسألة الملحة هي عدم وجود جهة مختصة تراقب وتتابع احوال تلك العاملات من الناحية النفسية والجسدية والصحية ومن الناحية الانسانية ونيل الحقوق فقانون العمل الاردني لم يفصل التعامل مع تلك الفئة تشريعيا اذ ان الهم الاول والوحيد للمشرع هو ضمان استيفاء الرسوم المستحقة من صاحب مكتب النخاسة البشرية وربط التعامل معه مباشرة باعتبار انه المسؤول الاول عن بضاعته البشرية ولذلك فان ابهام وغموض النص القانوني يتيح لرب المنزل نهب حقوق العامل لديه واستغلاله ابشع استغلال وربما لا يحتسبون الاهانات والاعتداء بالضرب وغيره على اولئك المستضعفات اللائي لايجدن ادوات للتعبير عن سوء المعاملة الا الهروب الى الشوارع في كثير من الاحيان او الصمت على تلك الاهانات والاعتداءات لأنهن محتاجات للقمة العيش الصعبة في الزمن الصعب او الخوف من انقطاع الرزق ان حاولن ان يتقدمن بشكوى بحق رب المنزل والذي يكون في العادة من المتنفذين اجتماعيا واقتصاديا لقد شاءت الصدف ان اتعرف الى الكثير من معاناة العاملات الاسيويات اللاتي يمن عليهن رب المنزل بفتات مائدته وبقايا طعامه ولكن السؤال الذي يطرح نفسه باستغراب .. مقابل هذه المعاناة التي تعيشها تلك العاملات في الغربة والبعد والعيش بين اناس يختلفون لغة وعادات وتقاليد ما هي الجدوى المادية التي ربما تسهم بها تلك الفتيات الصغيرات في رفد ذويهن في الوطن الاصلي وهذا السؤال ينقلنا الى سؤال اعم وهو تقدير الحد الادنى من الاجور التي يقررها القانون الاردني تجاه العمال اردنيهم واجنبيهم كم يبلغيبلغ الحد الادنى من الاجور 110 دنانير هذا هو المقرر الرسمي لكن المخفي اعظم اذ ان الكثير من ارباب العمل يوقعون عقودا وهمية توحي بهذا الاجر بينما العامل يتقاضى اجرا اقل وماذا لو تتبعنا على سبيل المثال المدرسات الاردنيات في المدارس الخاصة اللاتي يتقاضين سبعين اوثمانين دينارا فما نقول عن الاجنبيات الخاضعات الى استغلال واجحاف مضاعف ولكننا على فرض ان تلك الاجرة التي يتم في الغالب خصم قيمة الطعام والمسكن والملبس والدفء منها لتلك العاملات فيضحي نصف هذا المبلغ هو حصيلة شقاء تلك الفئات العريضة التي تقبع في الفلل الفاخرة المبطنة بالاستغلال والاضطهادهل تمارس العاملة حقها في التعلم وممارسة طقوسها وفي سماع الموسيقى وفي تناول الطعام بحرية وفي اخذ فسحة للنوم والراحة ... كلا طبعا فالعاملة هي ملك وتحت تصرف صاحب المنزل كما ينص قانون العمل الاردني ( والعاملة هي فاقدة للاهلية والحرية متى ما ولجت الى بيوت السادة ونعود ونطرح سؤالا آخرا موجها الى اصحاب اللحى من الذين يفتون للناس بحرمة سفر المراة لوحدها بدون محرم وحرمة خلوتها او اقامتها مع رجال اجانب في نفس البيت ماذا بشأن الخادمات اللاتي يقمن بخدمتكن وهن في الغالب فتيات في سن المراهقة مغتربات فهل تنطبق الفتوى عليكم وعليهن ام ان للضرورة احكاماذا كانت بعض مراكز حقوق الانسان في العالم العربي قد اصدرت تقاريرا بشأن نظام الكفيل في المملكة العربية السعودية صنفته في خانة نظام العبودية فماذا نقول بحق تلك الفتيات المستضعفات اللاتي يتم استغلالهن في الاردن بطرق بشعة ومجحفة بحقهن وحق انسانيتهن وهذا التقرير يصف نماذج من واقع العاملات الاجنبيات في الاردن استقيته من وكالة عمون احدى العاملات اعادتها السفارة الاندونيسية لمكتب الاستقدام وسلمتالى كفيلها رغم تعرضها لشتى ضروب التعذيباحدى العاملات: وزارة العمل حفظت شكوتي لان كفيلي"مسؤول إيده طايله"الشوابكة ينفي إهمال المديرية لاية شكوىالحمود : رفض شكوى اقارب الخادمة في المراكز الامنية اجراء غير قانوني.عمون _ سماح ابو دقة ..ضُربت "بالحذاء" وأهينت بالكلام الجارح، ذنبها " كسرت كاسة"، لم يرحمها صاحب المنزل فانهال بضربها بكل ما يملك من قوة، صراخها أيقظ الجيران.. وأنقذها بعد فوات الاوان...ورنيشيا واحدة من عشرات الخادمات اللواتي يتعرضن لإساءة المعاملة داخل المنازل، وغيرها يُلاقى الاعتداء والعنف وهضم الحقوق المالية، مسلسل طالت حلقاته دون ضبط وتفعيل حقيقي لحقوق العاملات الغير اردنيات.قدرات رصدت حالات عديدة لخادمات تعرضن لانواع مختلفة من الاساءة، واستمعت لشكاوى مكاتب إستقدام العاملات، وسألت المسؤولين_ كم عدد الخادمات اللواتي يتعرضن للإساءة ؟ ومن المسؤول عن حماية حقوقهم؟ورنيشيا: جسدي شاهد على معاملة أصحاب المنزل السيئة" اُريد العودة لاحضان امي" هذا ما قالته ورنيشيا بنت تاسويت عندما التقينا بها، كانت جالسة بحزن تستذكر أيامها المؤلمة التي عاشتها عند كفيلها ج.ح، وتستنظر بشغف إستكمال حقوقها لتعود الى بيتها باندونيسيا.قصة عذاب ورنيشيا بدات من سنتين في منزل ج.ح بالكرك، ومعاناتها بدأت منذ اليوم الأول حين وجدت نفسها في مستنقع عملٍ متواصل ، فالعمل يبدأ من الخامسة صباحا وحتى الواحدة ليلاً تتخللها وجبة غداء فقط، عدا عن المعاملة السئية التي تتلقاها من افراد الاسرة، فربة المنزل تنعتها "يا حمارة" وتصفعها على وجهها لأقل خطأ.وتقول ورنيشيا " جسدي شاهد على معاملة أصحاب المنزل السيئة، كنت أُضرب بشكل دائم ولاسباب تافهة، لم أجد الراحة يوماً فالعمل كثير من تنظيف وغسيل وطبخ وعناية الاطفال، أما ربة المنزل فكانت تتركني بالمنزل وحيدة مع الاعمال التي لا تنتهي، ومنعتني من الاطمئان على أهلي والخروج لرؤية صديقاتي ".وتضيف " لم أتحمل الضرب والاهانة، فالكبير والصغير كان يضربني الاطفال كانوا يضربونني بأرجلهم، وفي أخر حادثه ضربني رب المنزل " بالحذاء" حتى سال الدم من يدي وقدماي، ولم يرئف بحالتي، ومن شدة صراخي قام الجيران بإبلاغ مكتب الاستقدام التابع له"خرجت ولم تعدأما "ورسيني" فهي إحدى الخادمات التي إنتهى مصيرها إلى قائمة خرجت ولم تعد، لسوء معاملة كفيلتها أ.ك، فقد هربت مرتين من بيت كفيلتها،و لجئت بالاولى إلى سفارتها الاندونيسية، واشتكت عن سوء معاملتها، فقد اوضح صاحب مكتب إستقدام ورسيني- م.ع- وحشية معاملة الكفيلة أ.ك لها، حيث كانت "تعاملها كحيوان، وتضربها بالعصاه، وتمنعها من إستخدام الماء الساخنة حتى للإستحمام، ووجبتها اليوميية بيضتين فقط، ومخدعها في المطبخ".وبالرغم من ذلك إستطاعت أ.ك إستعادت خادمتها بطرقها الخاصة مرة أخرى، لكن النتيجة انتهت بهروب ورسيني مرة اخرى وللاسف الشديد تكرر المشهد وسلمت من قبل السفارة الاندونيسية الى المكتب وهناك انتزعت من قبل كفيلتها بالقوة بعد تعرضها للضر امام صاحب المكتب وفي الشارع التي اقتيدت به عنوة الى سيارة الكفيلة .كفيل نور ليلى أكرمها بالمعاملة وحرمها من مستحقاتهاأما قصة نور ليلى فمختلفة، المعاملة ممتازة والضيافة من النخب الاول، فالكفيل س.م من الشخصيات المرموقة والمسؤولة، وفر لها الطعام والشراب والمنامة والمعاملة الجيدة، لكن المشكلة في دفع مستحقاتها المالية.وتقول نور ليلى" سئمت من العمل بدون أجر وقررت الهروب من المنزل واللجوء الى سفارتي الاندونيسيه، حيث تم توثيق هروبي وسلمت فيما بعد لمكتب إستقدامي، والذي طالب بدوره بحقوقي المالية من كفيلي س.م، فلم أجد منه سوى المماطلة في البداية بإجابتة، ومن ثم تغيرت لهجته وأصبح يشتم ويهدد(بالطخ والقتل)" وأضافت" قدمت شكوى لوزارة العمل عبر الخط الساخن للمطالبة بحقوقي المالية، وجاء الرد بحفظ الملف، وإغلاق المكتب لمدة يوم واحد، والسبب الكفيل "مسؤول إيده طايله" ".ومع ذلك لم تيأس نور، وقدمت شكوى خطية إلى نقابة أصحاب مكاتب استقدام واستخدام العاملين في المنازل في تاريخ 14/12/2006، وهي تنتظر الرد حتى الآن.واتي أكيار ضحية أخرى تتعرض للضرب بشكل يومي، تعمل لدى كفيلها س.ج.ع منذ عشرة شهور لم تتقاضى خلالها أي راتب، إضافة للمعاملة السيئة التي تتلقاها.واتي نقلت معاناتها سراً لابنة عمها العاملة في إحدى المنازل بعمان، من خلال إتصال هاتفي لم تستطع إتمامه لكشف أمرها، فقد ضربت حينها ومنعت من إتمام المكالمة التي باحت خلالها تعرضها للضرب اليومي، والمنع من الاستحمام واستخدام الصابون، عدا عن تناول وجبات الطعام بمقادير محدودة وقليلة .بدورها قامت ابنة عمة واتي بإبلاغ مركز الشركة عن حجرها وتعرضها للضرب اليومي، المركز رفض توثيق البلاغ، بحجة أن اليلاغ يجب أن يكون مقدم من الخادمة(واتي) شخصياً!

The Pharaoh, call him Satan, or Consumer spirit, demands from us to make more and more bricks, to earn more money, so we will forget about God. Every day we sacrifice some time of our children (“turn them into bricks”) for instead of attending to them we work more to pay mortgage, this is the quota of bricks, to repay for the car credit, and what not. And from time to time we go to a nice candle-lit restaurant on the seaside for a good meal – this is the fleshpots."

What’s next in Iraq?

"Tariq Ali: I DON’T think that very many people outside the U.S. believe this. Even in countries that have troops there, the population is against the war and occupation. With every passing day, it becomes clear that the principal aim of the U.S. in invading and occupying Iraq had very little to do with democracy or even toppling a dictator, and a great deal to do with exercising imperial power, showing both the region and the rest of the world that this is how modern imperialism works – that the U.S. cannot be defied, and if it is defied, it reserves the right to punish defiance. Iraq was meant to be the country where this would be demonstrated. Another principal reason was to grab the Iraqi market – to grab Iraqi oil and divide it among the West, as used to be the case long years ago when Iraq was ruled by the British. This occupation takes place now in a very changed international context. This is a 21st century occupation. It takes place in the context of neoliberal economics and a global offensive by corporate capitalism." Zionism in the Age of the Dictators

"German Zionism offers to collaborate with Nazism Werner Senator, a leading German Zionist, once remarked that Zionism, for all its world Jewish nationalism, always politically assimilates to the countries within which it operates. No better proof of his remark exists than the political adaptation of the ZVfD to the theories and policies of the new Nazi regime. Believing that the ideological similarities between the two movements – their contempt for liberalism, their common volkish racism and, of course, their mutual conviction that Germany could never be the homeland of its Jews – could induce the Nazis to support them, the ZVfD solicited the patronage of Adolf Hitler, not once but repeatedly, after 1933. The goal of the ZVfD became an “orderly retreat”, that is, Nazi backing for emigration of at least the younger generation of Jews to Palestine, and they immediately sought contact with elements in the Nazi apparatus whom they thought would be interested in such an arrangement on the basis of a volkish appreciation of Zionism. Kurt Tuchler, a member of the ZVfD Executive, persuaded Baron Leopold Itz Edler von Mildenstein of the SS to write a pro-Zionist piece for the Nazi press. The Baron agreed on the condition that he visited Palestine first, and two months after Hitler came to power the two men and their wives went to Palestine; von Mildenstein stayed there for six months before he returned to write his articles." Zionist Objectives

The objective of Zionism has never been merely to colonize Palestine – as was the goal of classical colonial and imperial movements during the 19th and 20th centuries. The design of European colonialism in Africa and Asia was, essentially, to exploit indigenous peoples as cheap labor while extracting natural resources for exorbitant profit. "What distinguishes Zionism from other colonial movements is the relationship between the settlers and the people to be conquered. The avowed purpose of the Zionist movement was not merely to exploit the Palestinian people but to disperse and dispossess them. The intent was to replace the indigenous population with a new settler community, to eradicate the farmers, artisans and town-dwellers of Palestine and substitute an entirely new workforce composed of the settler population. In denying the existence of the Palestinian people, Zionism sought to create the political climate for their removal, not only from their land but from history. When acknowledged at all, the Palestinians were re-invented as a semi-savage, nomadic remnant. Historical records were falsified – a procedure begun during the last quarter of the 19th century but continuing to this day in such pseudo-historical writings as Joan Peters’ From Time Immemorial."Ralph Schoenman

Roots of Israel’s violence

"LOOKING BACK on my own experience in Palestine I can see how today’s horror grew from small beginnings. Zionism, Jewish separateness and the belief in a Jewish homeland, have developed into state violence. My parents were pioneering Zionists, leaving Russia for Palestine in 1902 to join a total Zionist population of a few thousand. I grew up a Zionist, but Zionism didn’t have the ugly face we see today. However, there was always a fundamental crack between the Zionists and the Arabs. This same crack split Zionists from ordinary people in their countries of origin. If you look to 19th century Russia it’s clear. In 1891 Tsar Alexander II was assassinated. The next year Russia’s extreme right organised a pogrom against the Jews. “Kill a Jew and save Russia,” they said. Socialists reacted by calling for unity in fighting Tsarism and the right. But there was a second reaction-Zionism. The Zionists argued, “Jews can’t rely on anyone but ourselves,” and the first of them left Russia for Palestine. Each further pogrom produced the same two reactions. Some joined the general revolutionary movement – others chose separation. When the Zionists came to Palestine they continued to emphasise their separateness. Zionists took over Arab land, often evicting the occupiers. And the Zionists systematically discriminated against the thousands of Arab unemployed. Although Arabs were at least 80 percent of the population, not one came to my school."Tony Cliff
